HANDLING SCRIPTURES

Handling Scriptures, how to handle scriptures, how to handle the word of God
The will of God is what He wants for His entire creation. In other words, when we are talking about the will of God, we are not just looking at what He wants for humanity; we are also looking at what He wants for His entire creation. This, of course, is what determines what He does and says and how He expects us to respond to what He does and says.

HOW TO TREAT PROPHECY

The first thing we need to know in order to treat prophecies appropriately is that it is not every prophecy that is of God. I believe in prophecy. You too should believe in prophecy, for it is perfectly scriptural. But it is not every prophecy that is of God. There are false prophets according to Scriptures. And even those who are acclaimed prophets can miss it.

PRAYING WORKFORCE (VOL. 1)

Therefore, in this volume of 'Praying workforce compendium', you will find fifty-two different articles that are set forth to show us God's will on different subjects of life and also a number of relevant prayers we can offer concerning each of these subjects. And I am offering it to you because I believe God is able to use it to increase your knowledge of His will in many ways and to also make your prayer life and that of any group of people in which you may decide to use it more fruitful and productive.

FIRE IN MY BONES (VOLUME 1)

Fire in my bones
Now, this first volume of this book, 'Fire in my bones', is meant to show you, my dear young friend, some of the things the wisdom of God wants you to know and to also take seriously in order to live meaningfully and not waste your life. So, even though you cannot find everything you need to know in order not to waste your youth inside it, I enjoin you to receive the few things shared inside with an open and honest heart.

FIRE IN MY BONES (VOLUME 2)

Fire in my bones vol2
Now those are mighty words, and they deserve the full attention of every young person that is living at the moment and that does not want to waste his life. Indeed, it is a wonderful thing to be young and full of life. It is a wonderful thing to have the strength to run up and down, as you like, and to go for anything that your heart desires. However, as Solomon points out in that text, youth, with a whole life before it, can make serious mistakes. That means, even though you are young today and seem to have a very promising future, if you are not well guided in life, you can make mistakes that will ruin your entire life and make a waste of it all.

DEAR PARENT

Dear Parent
But how do we know the will of God for us in raising our children? It is by learning from the Scriptures through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. And that is what this little book, 'Dear Parent', which presents a scriptural approach to raising Godly children, is written to accomplish.

BEFORE YOU STIR UP LOVE

Now are you ready to handle a love relationship and all the things that may come into your life with it? How do you know if you are ready for a love relationship at all? These are the main questions this little book, 'Before you stir up love', is written to answer for you.

CHRISTIAN GIVING

Christian Giving
But how does God expect us to give? What sort of giving is pleasing and acceptable in His sight? These and a number of other questions on giving are answered in this book, which presents a biblical approach to giving. Now this book is a must-have for every Christian and also for everyone who is very much interested in what God thinks of his giving or service to Him.

MINISTRY DESERTERS

But our Lord Jesus says to us, “No one who puts a hand to the plough and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:62NIV) What does this mean? And how should God's children, who are all described in Scriptures as ministers or servants of God, take it? These and other similar questions on why people desert their God-given ministries and what we must give ourselves to in order not to desert our own ministries are answered in this little book 'Ministry Deserters'.

LIVING IN DIVINE HEALTH

But the book does not just speak to us about God's desire or will about our health; it also tells us a number of things that we need to know or do in order to fully appropriate and enjoy the will of God for our health. For example, it shows us the roles of faith, devotion to righteous living and a proper care for our bodies in enjoying divine health. And in addition to those, it highlights for its reader some major reasons certain individuals may not get well or even die in their illnesses. In short, this book deals with the subject of divine healing and health, as taught in Scriptures, in a very balanced way.

WHAT DOES GOD THINK OF ME

Now all that is what this book, 'What does God think of me?', has been written to help us do. It has been written to help us reflect, through certain letters that our Lord Jesus once wrote to some of His churches, on the consistency of our lives with the will of God for us and to make necessary amendments.

DISCERNING THE BODY OF CHRIST

Why then is the body of Christ not living up to God's expectation on it? A major reason is the lack of understanding of many its members of what this body represents before God and how it is expected to function in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation. Now, this book, ‘Discerning the body of Christ’, has been written to take care of this knowledge deficit in the church and to propel all its members to be more discerning in the way they relate to one another, so that God's purpose for His church in this world may be fully realised.

LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEW ORDER

Are we, then, hopeless? Do we have to surrender ourselves in hopelessness to all the terrible things that this world represents and has to offer? No! We are not hopeless. That is because God, our loving Creator, has promised to totally get rid of this world and all its problems and establish a new world for everyone who takes Him seriously and submits himself to His authority. And He has told us through His Son, Jesus Christ, and His holy

MR & MRS

Mr and Mrs
Now this book, 'MR AND MRS', is written to show us what God is saying about the marriage institution and how to build from it a home that is saturated with love, joy, peace, contentment and all kinds of beautiful things, even in the face of life's trials and challenges. So, I commend it to you, especially if you are already married, and ask that you carefully and prayerfully go through the things that are inside.

CONCERNING PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT

Concerning Praying in the Spirit
To pray in the Spirit, as we see in the Bible, is to pray according to the leading of the Holy Spirit and in the energy of the Holy Spirit. And if you are among those sincere hearts that are earnest to know the truth of the Scriptures about what praying in the Spirit entails, this booklet, 'Concerning Praying in the Spirit', is for you.

BASIC PRAYER KNOWLEDGE

Basic Bible Knowledge

WHAT IS REQUIRED OF YOU?

What is required of you as a student!
And so I have decided to divide what I want to share with you into four points. The first point is, “What does God require of you as a student?” The second point is, “What do you require of yourself as a student?” The third point is, “What does the society require of you as a student?” And the last point is, “What does your school require of you?”

HOLY COMMUNION

Holy Communion also know as Lord's Supper...
Now what does this rite—Holy Communion—mean to the church? Why is it so sacred? Who instituted it and why? Who should participate in it and who should not? And what impact should it or can it have on the life of a participant? Below are scripture-based answers to these questions and some other related ones.

CHRISTIAN REACTIONS

Christian Reactions is a study on the book of James 5:13-16...
We all know that life, in a general sense of speaking, is an intricate combination of actions and reactions. Our very life's experiences are all a result of our actions and reactions. Every one of us is free to act as he pleases, and every one of us is free to react as he pleases. Nevertheless, none of us is free to run away from the consequences or results of his actions and reactions. That is why it is important for each of us to keep on learning the proper way to act and to react in life. That will not only prevent us from creating terrible experiences for ourselves and others, it will also prevent us from being slaves to the terrible experiences others may create for us.

QUIET TIME

Quiet Time
It is the time that we set aside to be alone with God as individuals. That makes it different from the time we spend with other believers in Church or fellowship meetings or the time we spend with our immediate families in our morning or evening devotions.

RESTITUTION

Restitution
It is not unusual for anyone who has been born again to,from time to time, be confronted with certain ugly matters of his past whether as a believer or as an unbeliever. And the hold these ugly pasts can have on believers can be somewhat dangerous or paralysing, especially if they do not know how to use God’s word to handle the condemnation and pains that come with the memories of their past errors or blunders. The question then is, “How should believers in Christ Jesus respond to their past sins and errors?”

UNDERSTANDING CHRISTIAN LIVING

Understanding Christian Living
The Christian life is not man's idea; it is God that calls people to live it. And so, for us to live to please Him, we must understand how to do so. It is, however, unfortunate that a lot of people don't know this. They don't know that Christian living can be taught. So they don't make any effort to learn it. But if you are going to live to please God, if, in the long run, you don't want to realise that your life has been a waste, then, it is important that you learn how to practise Christianity.

THE AIM OF CHRISTIAN PREACHING

This little book, 'The aim of Christian preaching', then, is written to educate all God's children, especially teachers and preachers of His word, on the basic things they need to pay attention to when handling or listening to the word of God. This is so that they can greatly profit from the ministry of the word of God and also help others to do the same.
