Beloved: grace, mercy and peace be yours from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. I am pleased to welcome you to another week of the month of November 2026. My prayer is that God will rid your heart of whatever is preventing Him from making Himself known to you more adequately every day, so that only His purpose will ultimately be fulfilled in your life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
I offered that prayer for you because one of the reasons God does not make more of Himself known to people is that their hearts are not right. When someone’s heart is not right, it does not matter what God reveals to the person about Himself, it will not change their attitude towards Him. Therefore, at some point, God will consider it useless to keep giving the person revelations about Himself or about life.
For example, after Judas Iscariot had left the Lord Jesus Christ to go and meet those who wanted to kill Him, He began to reveal to the other disciples all kinds of things about what would happen to Him, what would happen to them and the ministry of the Holy Spirit that God would send to them. And why did He not say these things when Judas Iscariot was still with them? He did not say them because the heart of the man was not right. So, he was not fit to be entrusted with such important revelations. (Cf. John 13-17)
In like manner, if our hearts are not right with God or with His people that we are in fellowship with, there are truths He will not consider us fit to be entrusted with. So, even if we are diligently studying the Scriptures or listening to all kinds of sermons, the Spirit of truth will still keep the knowledge and understanding of such truths away from us. And if we do not repent in time, spirits of error may take over our lives and being to feed us with destructive heresies, as it is the case with many preachers all around the world today.
So, let your heart be right in your relationship with God by letting go of greed, pride, jealousy, immorality and other kinds of evil desires. Otherwise, God may just shut the door of His truth against you. Then you will find yourself enslaved by all kinds of satanic lies that will lead to your destruction, if you are not shown mercy. And may that not be your portion, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Have a lovely week.
